Learn to repair ceiling and wall cracks with Stress Crack Tape
This video will show you how easy it is to repair cracks in drywall, plaster, or sheetrock. Stress Crack Tape is very simple to use, and you will soon see th...
After a week you can purchase,"StepSavers", "PutBack" glue, in a variety of
ReplyDeletecolors....
I just wanted to use the tape for the dudes mouth! American made ( means
ReplyDeletebound to be shit ) and showing us each size ( various sizes would have made
the point )
nice job ( well done old chap )
If the house is setting on ground that has a tendency to shift a bit, the
ReplyDeletecrack will continue to appear.....I have tried 3 times to fix a stress
crack at a house with tape, mud but it still cracked over time. I am a
journeyman painter also...so if i am missing something, let me know....I
find if the drywall is running vertical with the door frame or window
frame, you usually will have stress cracks in those area's.....
As a shortcut I bought some of this stuff yesterday and "repaired" 2 cracks
ReplyDeletecoming off of the corner of a couple windows. The small crack turned out
acceptable (not sure how long it will last), and the other is horrible. The
product curled up. Today I will have to scrape off the paint, texture,
tape, and do it right. Actually it doesn't take too much longer to fix the
crack the "old-fashioned way". There is just a lot of extra waiting for the
mud to dry.
Making the crack disappear was what we intended.
ReplyDeleteOutstanding! I cannot wait to try this
ReplyDeletehaha i still see the tape guy even after you spray texture over it haha
ReplyDeletetexture cant even hide the tape because tape is thicker than the wall ..wow
what a new idea get tape and tape over the problem and paint kinda like
mechanic in a bottle for your wall .. i like the idea of someone looking at
my wall and asking why i was so stupid to put tape on my wall and paint
over it so my opinion this product is stupid and a complete waste of money
WOW! wheres the crack lol! u made it disaperar clap clap clap clap
ReplyDeletewoooooooooooooooh
Went to the Home Depot and when I ask if they had "stress crack tape", they
ReplyDeletelooked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about.

ReplyDeletewhat is the full name of the sray please?
ReplyDeleteRemember, a good job is not so much the tool, but the skill of the person
ReplyDeleteusing the tool.
Great item. USA Made...nice to see
ReplyDeleteJust used stress crack tape on two wall cracks and repairs look great. Can
ReplyDeletenot tell there was ever a crack and can't see the tape.
gonna use this in a million dollar house owned by a orthodontist tomorrow,
ReplyDeletehe'll think I worked all day, better take my laptop along so I can surf
while it dries. hehe
so basically u put a scotch tape on crack... this is a realy shitty repair.
ReplyDelete@doogleandalix No problem to use the Stress Crack Tape on the ceiling.
ReplyDeleteWhat if theirs a few bumps on the ceiling and its not smoothed out, will it
ReplyDeletestill work?
Omg lmao...its just gonna shift and F up
ReplyDeleteDoes it matter what color the stress tape is? In one video they tell you to
ReplyDeleteuse blue mesh tape; presently I have a roll of yellow.
@chloe7829 No need to fill. Sorry for the delayed response.
ReplyDeleteWhere can u find this tape?
ReplyDeleteStress Crack Tape works well on plaster ceilings and walls. The key is to
ReplyDeletepress firmly outside of the damaged area. Plus it will span the gap of
larger cracks as well without any problems. Nice to see products still
being made in the USA.
dudes in the way of what hes doing.
