Some pieces of music just touch your soul whether they are classical,
ReplyDeleteclassic, country or rock. U2 has always had a way of touching my soul and
making me think about the world and if I make any difference being a part
of it, I hope I do...
This is one of those songs. And I don't expect everyone to enjoy it as I am
sure it touches each one of us in a very different way, if at all...
I remember watching Nelson Mandela's funeral and reflecting back upon his
life and thinking about how incredible he was standing up for all that he
believed in no matter what the consequences were. Could you imagine
spending 27 years in prison because of your belief? And that was only a
very small portion of all the contributions he made to this world in his 95
years of being here. He truly was an amazing person.
I've never had the opportunity to see U2 in concert but someday I hope I
can say I was a part of something incredible and saw them in concert and
that all of you were a part of it with me as well...
and that I got to photograph it all!!!
