I tried an alternate method which gave me a GREAT texture, but piss poor brick pattern...and needless to say it wasn't tile able at all. Nice. Anyway I created a Selective Gaussian blur on a clouds pattern which made it look washed out and corroded.
Awesome! I've used those effects before but I can't believe I never came up with this xD Guess I haven't had the need to create bricks. This is very helpful! Thank you! Your Scottish accent is awesome by the way X)

That should be the minecraft stone brick texture for your texture pack, yes
